Welcome to P. J. Jacobs

Dear P.J. Jacobs Parents, Guardians and Students,

I am honored and excited to be transitioning into a new role in the Stevens Point Area Public School District as the Principal at P.J. Jacobs Junior High.  I have worked in the district since 2014, beginning at SPASH as School Social Worker and then at the Charles Fernandez Center for Alternative Learning as Principal.  

Although I loved both of those positions, I knew that when the opportunity arose, I wanted to be part of the P.J. Jacobs team.  The climate and culture of this building radiates a warmth that is clearly student focused. The teachers and support staff work closely together and are often described as a family.  As a mother, wife, and member of this community, it is important to me that we move into this year unwavering and with the same student centered drive and passion that has existed for so many years. 

In order to give your student a great experience at P.J. Jacobs, I am committed to moving forward with the values that have shaped my career: advocacy, collaboration, integrity, and transformation.  I look forward to working with our students, parents/guardians and staff, always leading with, “What is best for kids?”. 

You will be receiving back to school information over the next week via the August Newsletter.  In addition, you will receive Patriot Pride Weekly Updates of events, activities or important information in the upcoming week.
